There once was a girl with eyes of pale blue,
Who built her own world to escape what was true
A land with swirls of sugar, candy and sweet
Within her fragile mind she'd often retreat
The days would grow long, the nights far too cold
It wasn't her fault, that's what she was told
There were never real demons, outside of her head
For that was the reason her sister lay dead
The real evil was all around, thoughtlessly condoned
In her home and her life, wherever she roamed
Not for spite nor for vengeance, but rather for fear
It soon lead her to destroy all she held dear
So back inside, herself she did crawl
Forgetting that life, her mind would soon fall
With nothing left for her to love, no one to receive
She lost herself in fantasy, nobody would grieve
She now tells tales of princesses and lies
Removing her past self and cutting the ties
Her smile is bright, her words laced with such hope
Though most would never know, that's how she must cope

Xuii is almost completely delusional in the sense that she believes she is a princess. She also believes she is a pastry maker for royalty, a knight for the candy kingdom, and sometimes a lamp. She speaks in riddle-laced dialect and gets violently upset when anybody tries to dispute her fantasies, so it is common knowledge to just let her live in blissful ignorance instead of attempting to break through her wonderland.
